Speaking Creatively

The “Creative Types” at Miranda Creative are available for engaging presentations on a variety of topics related to social media, marketing, communications, advertising, web development and creative thinking. Hands-on advice, supportive materials, real-world stories and case studies are shared with your organization, marketing group or classroom. Using effective multi-media technology, most presentations run for less than an hour (unless indicated). Current programs available include:

  • Marketing on a Shoestring Because the phrase “unlimited budget” never applies to marketing or advertising, we’ve developed some cost-effective techniques for marketing and are always on the lookout for fresh, affordable approaches. We’ll share our ideas…from A to Z.
  • Becoming a “Creative Type” After more than two decades of producing award winning work, how does the team at Miranda Creative live up to their name? From the color of our walls, to the countless bulletin boards filled with ideas, we believe that creativity takes daily effort. During this fast-moving presentation we share 52 (one for each week) exercises you can engage to improve your creativity and problem-solving skills. Acutally, we share 50…the final two…are up to you!   • Foursquare or Be Square: Understanding Geo-location marketing 30% of all searches are now being done on mobile devices and the results are being filtered by the GPS coordinates of that Blackberry, iPhone or Droid (among others). In addition, Facebook, Foursquare, Yelp, and countless other smart phone applications are allowing consumers to check in, voice opinions and influence the decisions of others. This presentation reviews how businesses should literally “position” their enterprises to make the most of new trends of search/select by mobile consumers
  • Facebook 101: Consumer Edition For the novice user, this 90-minute program addresses the basics of managing this leading social media, including: creating a profile, privacy settings, wall posts/updates, adding friends, sharing links. and other primary tools.
  • Facebook 101: Business Edition With more than 500 million users, Facebook is a communication and marketing tool that businesses /non-profits can't afford to ignore. Designed for entrepreneurs/leaders with limited experience, this 90-minute program reviews this ever-changing social media and how to use it effectively to engage target markets and develop relationships. Topics addressed include:
    • Social media overview and its role in a marketing plan
    • Profiles/Pages/Causes/Groups(defining what’s right for you)
    • Best practices for privacy, security and postings
    • Effective communications with friends/fans
    • Controlling basic tab functions and simple applications
